#1 (les vetements)

i love seasons like these...
not just because im such a spring girl,
but because this current fashion season is SO me.

we are pairing the frills, colors, patterns, textures, accessories, masculine pieces ALL TOGETHER. like i couldnt love this more. some may get confused this season and for spring, and may actually put their outfits together as if they just threw up their morning breakfast -- NO. thats not at all what this season is about. loose fitting "boyfriend" pants are pack, gauchos are back, frilly blouses, DRESSES with floral prints, bright colors, various patterns...theyre back like never before.

i have never been more in love with fashion than in this season.
an addition that i do love is the one piece. i, myself have always kept a few onesies in my wardrobe because they are oh so chic and SO easy to dress up, down, or out with friends. but now theyre back, and theyre the epitome of simplistic fabulosity.

so take the time to be a girl. take the time to combine your loose fitting pieces with your tight frills. bare some legs, get your toes freshly painted (neutral tones, PASTEL colors -- corals, purples,pinks in various shades are def in) for those strappy sandales, hurache sandals (i recommend flea market searching for these...great prices!), or if youre up for it -- some strappy heels, and step out on the town with style, comfort, and confidence.

this is perhaps one of the most comprehensible, affordable (compared to my faves like narcisco rodriguez and the like) and CUTE spring collections this year. this is def a great rtw collection seeing how its marc by marc ...marc jacobs spring 09 collection personally not my cup of tea, so im bringing you some of my faves from marc by marc 2009 collection. enjoy :)
