welcome to atl, shawwwty
i finally made it. a city ive been excited to visit for quite some time...i hopped on a flight thursday afternoon, and voila i was there by that evening
the reason i wanted to visit the city was not the same reason as to why i visited there this past weekend. but in all honesty, it had to be one of the best mini-vacations i've ever taken.
im generally a happy person, everyone has their vices and the shit that gets the down/irritates them/problems/etc, but besides for that, im happy, im content at where i am in my life -- im a young freshman in college, away from home, in a new setting...ive got a lot going for me, and theres no denying that. but to have my happiness reach a whole new level, not just from this weekend...but for the past six months....this is something ive never ever experienced before.
a feeling i like.
a feeling i like being familiar to.
a feeling that had me travel 2,000 miles from my new college life.
2,000 miles.
until now, i didnt realize how far i was from "home" (boston)
ive never met someone who has had me smile, laugh, think, ponder, reason, like, give, understand as much as i have with...to be understood and accepted during times when i feel like i look like crap, or when i can hardly even form a sentence....tis always a good feeling to have.
more and more im becoming more content with "us" us= me and him. i dont need a title, a label, or a sign to identify, clarify (to me or to others for that matter), alert others...i understand who i am, who he is, and what we are together...the distance is what kills us, if there is at all a killer in this...but the fact that we're both focused on the grind at school allows us to share a common college experience. another difference is the girls out there, the boys out here...idk, i figure everyones born with a moral compass, and at this point, six months in, we should know what ticks off the other, what makes the other smile, and what would hurt either one of our feelings / break what we have...so i leave it at that
with a bigggggg ass kool-aid smile :-D
